I have been interested in photography for as long as I can remember. It really wasn't until about six years ago that I decided to make it a serious hobby and learn as much about shooting as possible. I adore all aspects of the process, but my favorite is the actual shoot, itself. When I am out shooting, there is a freedom that cannot be described. It is when I am the most content. My favorite types of photos are the experiences that find me. I can plan a shoot, ensure that the light and camera settings are optimal, but it is the unexpected; the sky color that I wasn't expecting, the sun breaking out, the fog that suddenly lifts, that make the best photos.

I created this site so I could share my photos with you. I have received wonderful feedback from friends, family and the photography community. My latest accomplishment was being asked to display several of my photos in an exhibit at Gallery606 in Ashland.
